Fintech UX Without Users or Brand: A Product Design Case Study

UX/UIFintechProduct DesignMobile UX

When I landed on this project, what was on the table was an idea. Nothing more. No user research, no brand identity, no design team, no name — just a concept: a mobile wallet for the gaming sector where users could manage their casino-linked payment account, loyalty tiers and promotions. A full fintech product to design from scratch in roughly one month.

Solo, under constant pressure, with stakeholders whose vision existed only in their heads. The app made it to the iOS and Android stores. Around five casinos evaluated and adopted it. Then the project took a turn I didn't expect — and taught me one of the most valuable lessons about what design work is actually worth.
